I’m definitely not going now, will see if my step son wants to go instead and have a laugh. 
 

We will look back at this as a club and wonder how anyone let this happen, in the position we were in. Losing respect for everyone at the club and those above him. 
 

For those of you less childish than me, boo the living s*** out of him at full time…

But with respect, you don’t have to be Nostradamus to know that a premier league manager has a shelf life of around two calendar years, at any one club, regardless of what they win in that time. Now’s the time for him to go. I was very happy with 8th. It didn’t look like it would be that good, this time last year.

I'm quite fortunate that my Man United/ City supporting mates are all in agreement that, at best, something has gone wrong. 

 

It seems that fans of northern clubs are more likely to be sympathetic than the London-based ones. Not sure that means anything.

What are we waiting for? How can they possibly think he’s going to turn it around with how we’ve started the season.
 

We need to do it ASAP while we’re still only a few points behind. New manager comes in and hopefully a couple of wins over the next few games and will be mid table.

As a Celtic fan was always interested as to how Rodgers would do.  This isn't to gloat.  He gave Celtic good times but left under a cloud because he kissed the badge then walked out mid season.  He is a good manager but has an ego the size of the Midlands which means that when under pressure and facing criticism, he reacts badly.  At Celtic things started to go astray after 18 months.  He had a transfer window in Jan 2018 where he got wanted and they were nearly all rubbish.  From then on he was at loggerheads with the board (who then in fairness mucked him about transfer wise) and looking back it was all downhill from there.  

 

From a few hundred miles North, I get the impression that Rodgers was given very decent money to spend last season and blew it (Congerton was never  a good Chief Scout) .  He is now looking to get a pay off and he'll no doubt do the same again at another club.  Good start, some good early signings but won't take responsibility for mistakes and then it all goes pear-shaped.

The football was rubbish 12 months ago. Norwich away we were lucky to win, Wolves first game of season we should have lost. Away at WHU we got battered, showed no fight or grit at all. Warsaw away we were outplayed but a team who were about 17th in their league.

 

We haven't suddenly just become poor in the last 4 weeks, it's been this way for 12 months.

Football-wise omg yes it can get much worse, and has been, many times, in the past. And may well again in the future. Maybe even this season.

 

Government-wise it’s tempting to say it can’t, but I’d have thought that six months ago, and they’ve proved me wrong.

 

Basically - yes, it can always get worse.

Dyche wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg, can just place Rodgers on garden leave, he will con his way into another club, so I doubt we would be paying him for too long

I can honestly say this is probably the worst it's been for this club and the football since we went down to League 1.

The general consensus last week was that Brendan Rodgers’ position as manager of Leicester City was safe for now — but that was before their defensive capitulation at Brighton & Hove Albion

 

Basically Tanner knows shit about what's going on at the club as of today.
