Congrats to you all. I'm a huge Oldham fan with a massive soft spot for Leicester. Don't take this the wrong way but I see your club as a benchmark for 'less fashionable' clubs like mine. Winning the Premier league was an unbelievable achievement but to sustain it and win the FA cup is just fantastic. I hope you continue to live the dream for a long time to come.

I hold no grudges even though I got a split lip in Welford place maybe 2018 when 5 or 6 of us got attacked by 20 or so young lads.

I'm 42 so was lucky enough to see Oldham in a cup final in 1990 and win promotion to the top flight in 1991. I thought that was the norm - how wrong I was.... We've been shit ever since and my kids have grown up watching utter garbage. I know I live in the past but when I was a kid Leicester were a similar club to us so it gives us hope that one day we can live the dream too.

If we can't win it again next year, I really hope somebody else who hasn't, or hasn't for a long time, does too. I know we're not universally popular, and I understand why, but I think people have liked the fact the players, manager and fans have been fully committed in wanting to win this. It isn't just one of many trophies, it's a standout moment for an unfashionable, lesser club.

 

You saw how Wigan reacted when they won it. Portsmouth won it. When Birmingham won the League Cup. Swansea won the League Cup. There's a freshness about it.

I have had congratulatory messages from Arsenal, Spurs and Watford fans (not surprising where I live) but none from Chelsea fans, I wonder why. One Chelsea friend said loser pays for a dinner out so looking forward to a nice meal.

Just looked back through my messages since full time and I've had the same from Ipswich, West Ham, Arsenal (x2), Newcastle, Man Utd (x2), Liverpool (x3), Morecambe, Blackburn, Leeds, Northampton, Cov! and Villa.

 

Took me right back to the night we won the league.

Just watched the game on replay in Sydney aust , Iam so happy , it was like when we won the league , what a great effort , kasper was brilliant and what a strike from YOURI , hope the lads can **** themselves up for the last two games . Go the mighty FOXES 🦊🦊🦊

Lot of Celtic fans sending on their congrats to me tonight. 

 

Even with the Rodgers issue you can feel that there's a lot to like about our success.

 

A neighbour of mine called over after the game. His son supports Chelsea and the son said he had no complaints about the result.

 

We are truly blessed to have witnessed the success of the last quarter of a century.
