Absent Friends and Family

12 months ago to the day I was giving CPR to my brother in law, but sadly it was to late and he died.

 

12 months later I’m at home now and celebrating what is a great day for Leicester City.

 

Lets have a toast to all family and friends and Leicester fans who are no longer here today.

I lost a close friend to suicide this year , he was at the Man City game with me in 2016 we had an amazing away day, bang on it from 7:30am , Tommo this is for you my friend 😥😥🍾🍾🍾🎊🎊🎊

My neighbour was 87 years old, City fan for 50+ years. He died in December 2015. Unfortunately he didn't get to witness this great era.

We lost my dad 18 years ago (18, wow) and he'd never have believed what's happened to this club the last few years, I wish I could see it. His best friends got to watch at Wembley today, there would have been a seat there for him.

 

Much love to anyone else wishing a loved one could have seen this.

To my dad, a Sunderland fan who tought me about the spirit of 1973 and miracles, he'd have loved today, best decision he ever made was moving to Leicester to teach and meeting my mum, we lost him 3 years ago in August, he talked about screamers like this in cup finals. Love you dad.

My dad took his own life back in 2012, from 2002-12 we were season ticket holders together, he had been going to games since he was a boy back in the 70s.
 

He has missed so much since but I think today would be the one that would have meant the most to him.

My grandma died a few months into the title season. I genuinely think she’d be more excited and overwhelmed by this though.

He would of been watching down mate . Imagine  he is over the moon like us all.

While we're at it. Used to go to the game with My mate Pete. Sadly killed in a motorbike accident few years back. The amount of shit we used to watch and the poor sod has missed the good times. Yes I'm pissed but we love you Pete and thats for you pal.

Mum died far too early in December 2019. I wish she had watched that with me and my dad. RIP mum. That win was for all leicester fans past present and future. It meant everything.
