Ah got you. The issues were mainly at launch. Season ticket holders didn’t all get access to buy at the same time and then they changed the date and time of general sale without warning, then put away supporters in A1 after season ticket holders had already booked seats there without any warning.

for some reason I thought the match was a 3pm KO so only saw the second half, I couldn't work out what system they were playing and not in a good way, very sloppy with the ball, hopefully first match jitters to blame

Seemed to be a bit of a 352 but the wing backs (Cain and Bailey-Gayle) barely got forward

6 new players started today as well apparently so I think it was always likely to be a bit disjointed

Looked good at times but their were a lot of low crosses into the box by Villa where on another day a striker could've had quite a few

I don’t know what happened there.

We seemed to be in control and handling all they had. We scored and seemed to take our foot off and never really got control again.

Hopefully some lessons learned early.

First match, scored a goal, got a feel for the WSL, more will become clear where we're at going forward. I agree about the commentary, had to mute it after awhile but the refereeing came in a close second to being awful. Just happy to watch Leicester city play tbh and looking forward to the rest of the season. Morgan has been with the team coming up through the leagues so we should stand by him. What the club's ambitions (and Morgan's) are for the team will dictate what happens over the next few season I should imagine.

Slightly related but the US women’s league just announced their final will be played on fake grass at 9am in Portland. Imagine the uproar if that happened in England. Disgraceful really

The club opened up B2 yesterday morning and it’s almost sold out already. Looks like there will be a good sized crowd compared to the Villa match.

B3 is open now as well, should be a really good attendance, I think the most I saw at quorn was maybe 150 🤔

Yes, but will I be able to lean on the railings with a good reasonably priced pint of Guinness in my hand at the KP.?

Unfortunately not, and I won't be able to get a 5 min bus ride on the 127 from Mountsorrel either! Still, it'll be nice to see them play at the big house! 😂

Yes it will. I'll be there, but I did like it at quorn.

When I went for the first time my oldest (just turned 5 at the time) was waiting for autographs and lachante paul took her onto the pitch to meet all the players, my girl still refers to her as her friend! I don't think we'll see things like that anymore which is a bit of a shame. I hope the programmes are decent now they team are all professional!

Yes, similar thing happened thi my lad and daughter. I can't remember her name but it was one of the full backs a couple of seasons back. They were stood watching some team that had been mascots getting autographs and she came over and took them round the players getting autographs.

It's a shame because I thick the design of the KP puts a distance between players and fans.

Our first game was a cup final played at Chesterfield, went with my daughter's team. Although they lost the team came over and had a chat with the girls, who had made plenty of noise for them, and posed for photos ect.

Covid rules mean the players are generally told not to pose for selfies, give autographs, mingle etc. So if it seems a lot different at the king power this week then it might not be the fault of the ground or the players but the current situation.

Yes, quite true. However before covid there was a feel about going that reminded me of watching the City as a kid down at Filbert Street.

Missus has just coerced me into getting tickets for United on Sunday out of the blue. Literally her first taste of live football and the KP. Looking forward to it.
