How does this affect the remaining FA Cup ties? Are any new signings cup tied?

When the same situation popped up last season there was a rule that a certain number of new signings were allowed to play anyway (I think it was 6?) even if they were already cup tied

...we need to change that rule, makes a bit of a mockery to the game!!!

You start the cup run with one squad and finish it with another squad, a bit farcical, we need to bring it in line with the men's game.

It was due to COVID, next season should be back to normal.

What if the majority of the squad that got you there no longer play for you?

...I know, it is completely outrageous!!!

The caveat to this is that, it is a Covid situation and will revert to the norm this season.

It's certainly an advantage for us, I'm assuming we have signed some real quality to challenge in the top flight so will be a much stronger team. If we were playing a second tier team I could see them being justifiably upset, but we're playing Man City so fvck 'em.

As you may have seen on Social Media, Football Manager have announced their commitment to bring the women’s game to future FM games (no date as yet).

They’ve also announced a commercial deal with LCFC Women for the coming season with their branding appearing at their home ground (TBA 👀) and press conference/interview boards

Shame I find it so hard to get into the later FM games... :(  2008 was the last one I was any good at...

I like the cut of Jonathan Morgan’s jib.

“We fear no one. We’re a dangerous team. We’ll be competitive. Bring it on.”
Fair play to him.

I posted about this in the Football Manager chat. This is massive for the women's game I think.

Miles (from FM) always said in the past "we won't do it, people won't play it" but I think they've obviously now come round to putting it the other way round - "build it and they will come!"

Where do they play their home games?

King Power will host a couple at last word (big TV games), smaller ground for the rest
