That is a rather naive statement.....players know that if they publicly say anything they will be labelled as "problems" and it will seriously affect their opportunities at LCFC or any other potential clubs.

How often do you hear professional players publicly criticising their managers BEFORE they've been fired?    (Do people do that in your line of work?)

As for the parents, i do feel genuinely sorry for some of them as they just want their children to be happy and treated well and fairly....!

There are those parents who are convinced their son is going to be the next best thing who need a reality check........but im sure most of the parents are decent people who dont like to see their children being treated unfairly.

Ive seen and read a lot about football coaches people management skills and i'm not sure too many of them would be able to operate the way they do in the real world with the scrutiny thats involved....but it seems to be acceptable in football.

I know it certainly wouldn't be tolerated in the industry i work in and i would be in serious disciplinary trouble if i ever spoke to any of my people the way some of footballs coaches speak to young adults..

I guess it could be a case of the 'bullied' becoming the 'bully'.it that was the way they were treated.

Driving people down in order to get the best from them is backwards if mentality and belief in self and others is the goal. Fear has to be the worst motivational tool I know if what you're seeking is excellence in discipline and performance. Could we please put the 50's to bed.

Ultimately, Seagrave, St George's Park and any other similar facilities that are deemed world class, whatever the expense, are mere buildings, gyms and fields without the very best of coaches, management and a clear and effective strategy.

Our owners are undeniably ambitious and have their eye on the ball as does our recruiting infrastructure. The academy however seems to be less transparent ie is Beaglehole and his team up to the job? What is their brief? Are they supposed to be producing players for our first team or players for sale to make money? If it's the former, then logically their training, conditioning and playing style should mirror that required by our current manager. Some people are appearing to comment that the latter doesn't seem to be the case. If true that appears perplexing and needs addressing. Whilst fully accepting that players mature at different ages, we do seem to end up with a bunch of players that appear to go out on loan very late or not at all before disposed of. Winning Micky Mouse u23 or similar leagues and competions for example is nice but surely not a priority. Perhaps a bit more clarity is required together with suitable staff employed to achieve a clear set of aims.

Exactly how I feel and have felt since Rodgers arrived and you all educated me on this club. Seems so simple and straightforward what the path ought to be. For me, and you as well, it gets tiring feeling like a broken record.

If you had told me that the status quo would have remained 2 1/2 years ago I would have laughed.

I know who you're talking about 😂😂😂

I’m curious Simon, if sidnei is offski, why are you still posting here  :dunno: ?

Is there a chance he stays?

Does he need 100 pages? If it helps I’ve started 4 seasons on fm 20 and signed him all 4 times.

I'm a Leicester city fan  like you dont worry man, 😉😉😉 , its nothing to do with us if sidnei Tavares stays or not it's up to the club and player to come to agreement or divorce.  I just want Leicester to do well  and like to see the best academy players  to make it to the first team if they deserve it

Moved upstairs

Makes sense with some of the player culls and the new boys coming in.

I'm sure there are better reason than those why it makes sense. Irrespective finally, its great news, depending where he lands upstairs! Maybe he can "oversee" coaching, that's a pointless role lol
