Any update to the Academy structure situation then? Some of you seem to be suggesting Beaglehole has moved upstairs in some capacity...meaning Ben Petty would take over the U23s I'd guess? I'm sure that was what was rumoured to be happening last summer too, although it never came to pass.

Yeah it would be a surprise if one of Alves, Cover, Briggs, Ewing, Wanya Marca, Braybrooke, Tavares (if he stays) or McAteer didn't make it

To be fair it is mentioned on Page 7 that there has been a big movement of some kind, this guy leaving could be part of a change behind the scenes

Trevor Peake retired recently too. Hopefully with the move to Seagrave and upgrade in facilities we're trying to upgrade staff and practices too. Not that our academy staff haven't already been amazing the last decade.

Bit of shame that injuries held him back as well but seems to be a good move for him.

Seem to be a bit of a clear out going on Admiral and Knight gone.

 

Good to see us developing not only players for the first team but also players that we can move on for a profit to championship sides.
