I'm assuming given they limited places to around 1000, that they initially offered them to STH and members to reduce the initial demand. It isn't like they've allowed a free for all of people in and excluded anyone without a ST or membership

When we won the prem they had a few days where you could queue up at the club shop and pay a tenner to have your photo took with the trophy. The money went to the foxes/Vichai foundation. I'm sure they'll do the same again.

Plenty of time to do this in the season.

 

I'm sure they will do more events.

If anything is limited then it should be limited to the most loyal people. Simple as that really. If people commit to a season ticket or membership then they should be first choice.

Yeah, I’m sure you have thought through the logistical challenges of every single person in the world being given the opportunity to have their picture taken with the trophy,

Surely you'd only be attracting Leicester fans. So opening it up and giving the whole a world an opportunity is a bit of a silly thing to say.

How many leicester fans are there in the world? How many would go and have their picture taken?

Quite simply demand would outstrip space, and you can’t have a ticketed event with an unlimited attendance. You couldn’t have had more than a thousand a day turning up for this, queuing through the last gate of the family stand into the shop, with the shop open as normal as well! It was well managed and given opportunity to have plenty of photos. The club didn’t have to do it, and originally I think it was only due to be Tuesday and Wednesday according to the stewards on the coach back from Wembley, but they made it all week.

Members had a chance. I’m a member, and I went. In fact, I pounced on it and was offered my choice of booking slots. There are thousands of season ticket holders that couldn’t go because it was limited - but they had the exact same opportunity as Fox Members.

Exactly, I've been working throughout and couldn't get over for the chance.

The staff in store said there are going to be a few more events throughout the year for that very reason.

I no longer have a ST. 

I still try to go to games when I have the chance, probably only once or twice a year, if that.

I buy a shirt most years, usually when they go on sale. 

 

I agree that those that have spent way more time and money on the club than I have should get this opportunity before I do. 

It's only fair.

I’ve just realised you’re the same fella that was moaning about general sale not happening for Wolves this morning.

 

Leicester City have a lot of fans these days, demand is higher than it’s ever been. I think you’ve got to be a bit more realistic, and you’re not gonna get these opportunities for free.

Again on this, I'd love to see a comparison with other top 6 or top 8 clubs. I'd assume it's a very similar picture. 

 

We're now a top 6 team, demand and favour for us is at an all time high. It's fairly realistic to be in a queue for a ticket
