brookfox Posted 11 February Posted 11 February He was one of the few positives you could take from yesterday. 1
J.Lisemore Posted 11 February Posted 11 February Took his goal well yesterday, I just hope he has it in him to care enough to steer us away from the drop, knowing he’ll be gone at the end of the season. He’s certainly not the only one but he’s financially done very well out of us, let’s see some repayment Patson.
HarryDee8 Posted 11 February Posted 11 February If he can find his scoring boots, he could really help change results. Hopefully yesterday might give him some confidence 1 1

A bit soon, with a strike rate lately of a goal a year hes next due one in 2027 2
HP1 Posted 21 February Posted 21 February Abysmal again. All we needed was a striker who could get us 10 goals a season and we'd have been alright this season. Instead we have a man who gets 1 a season.

Blue.Fox84 Posted 21 February Posted 21 February I think because of the money he’s given aswell, I genuinely hate him. He’s been here long enough now, crap footballer all round and should never be given the money he’s on! Genuinely seen better CF’s playing non league football on a fraction he earns, stealing a living! It’s like playing with 10 men, there is zero outlet at all with him up there 4

Going against the grain here and say that I actually think that's the one area of his game that has improved (not saying much). Never seen somebody who isn't a big lad get fouled so much. Not for a second saying we should keep him by he is infinitely better than Ayew l, which unfortunately is the benchmark outside of the transfer window.
Popular Post foxile5 Posted 21 February Popular Post Posted 21 February Worse goals to games ratio than Akinbiyi and significantly more cost. Worst signing of our history, for me. 5
AKCJ Posted 21 February Posted 21 February Him being preferable to Ayew isn't enough to start him. It's like playing with 10 men. I actually think Mukasa is the answer. Especially when James is back. I see our best 11 being something like; Begovic Ricardo Vestergaard Nelson Aluko Skipp Winks James Fatawu Mukasa Mavididi 3

It's him or Soumare. Both genuinely laughable signings and we signed both in the same window alongside Vestergaard and Bertrand. That summer put us back 15 years. Heads should have rolled for it yet here we are, living with the consequences with the same people in charge. 2

The other factor they bleat about is but he doesn't fall over as much as ayew. How about, both are shit, get a striker in that does his job. 1
sdb Posted 21 February Posted 21 February Yeah i want to like him but he's an absolute disgrace. He's weak, has a terrible touch, his lack of anticipation is amateurish and he's not improved a single aspect of his game in 4 years. All for £20+ million and some of the highest wages in the club's history. Another that will go for free too. Nice work, everyone. 1

You couldve thrown darts at 4 randon footballers playing in top european divisions at the time and 100% come out with a better hand. Staggering.
