How was the away end on Saturday?

Certainly not our worst.

Went a bit quiet 2nd half but not terrible.

That said Norwich must be up there with Everton as the worst home fans in the league.

More so than Liverpool? I am sure the TV companies overlay fake fan noise when they're on TV as when there in person, its embarrassing. Arsenal i also found abysmal as well as Manchester City. Thought Sheffield United was good in terms of Premier League games over the last couple of years.

On the flip side to this thread;

Whats the best atmosphere away match people have been to?

How so?

Because they made noise for about 3 minutes after they scored.

Everton fans always bang on about how good goodison is for big games. Like playing us is nothing so they don't bother. Goodison is shite whenever we go there. For an old fashioned ground it always seems so quiet.

Wolves were pretty lively when I went a few years ago.

West Ham can be good on their day

Fair point those 3 you mentioned aren't great. But Liverpool is marginally better than Everton

Man city is an odd one because you would think they would enjoy the journey they are on after years in the doldrums but I guess it's altered there fan demographic.

Goodison is wasted on them. Such a weird fanbase.

In England - Fratton Park, Upton Park, Roker Park, The Victoria Ground, Ayresome Park, Highbury and have to concede, the Holte end is impressive on full song. Anfield was a magical place pre-Taylor report.

Thought West Ham were good when they beat us particularly towards the end especially considering the stadium has got such a bad rep

They only bother for the derby games tbf.

But then again all Everton as a club are concerned about are how Liverpool are doing.

Agreed, I've been to the Emirates for 3 of their wins against us and every time it is absolutely dire.

The West Terrace at Highfield Road was good especially when we played them as it was mostly full of Leicester fans.

In the 1970s the west terrace was half Coventry, half Leicester. Seperated by one long piece of plastic tape.

Guess the rest.

Our home support is pretty awful too let’s be honest

Didn’t think too bad, better then at West Ham IMO…

the odd hyper aggressive fan, who also cheered Barnes and off and ironic cheers when cags found a pass.

But more supportive to thevteam

then at West Ham.

Well I grew up on filbert Street.  Football was less family oriented and sanitised

But our place is far from the worst. Issue we have is we have 2 areas that want to go at it and that's it.
