Like i said many times, there needs to be a dedicated end for fans of like mind, that's what happened at other clubs, it means moving season ticket holders etc...But the club will never do it as they want to control the atmosphere their way, a sanitised, happy clapper family atmosphere.  Just the way it is I'm afraid.

The club messed it up when we moved by asking people to go in the corresponding section of the ground to where they were at Filbo. So the Kop, originally designated the South Stand had a mix of the Filbo Kop, mostly standers and singers and the Double Decker, mostly sitters and watchers.

I'd imagine an adult supporter would still be spending more over the course of a season than a child. Maybe a shirt per season, a pie and a beer each game and the large differential in the price of a season ticket.

....the child comes with his parent....!!!

You can't compare the child against an adult. The child cannot go on their own, so it is a very costly day out for father and child.

So they would rather sit somewhere else in silence?  Not sure I understand your point.

there is a massive difference between sitting in silence and creating an atmosphere for 90 minutes.

People would'nt be forced to make an atmosphere for 90 minutes, it would just be an area where fans who want to create an atmosphere would buy tickets.

That area already exists does it not?

I didn't say a child on their own, that would be madness. It's simple maths an Adult + Child doesn't contribute more than 2 adults or however many multiples of the above equation you want to make it. You'd be correct if you sat on the same seat.😆

HF at Palace fighting against club display.

Just out of pure curiosity, why are they angered at the club having a display alongside the one they're producing?

I assume they'd want more attention on the fan display?

I think they explain it fairly well.
Completely undermines their creation which Palace supporters have paid for.

On the plus side one of the Nigel’s has personally bought 3000 blue and red balloons and will be handing them out to fans at Wembley on Sunday. Fantastic

They can't bring their gimp masks into the ground.

Honestly they need to get over themselves, they are now a parody of a fans group

most fans just want to support the club and  enjoy the spectacle ! Who ever pays for it

I just love how these groups think they’re instantly entitled to be the only ones to want to display a banner. This is where they separate themselves from the club and other sections of support. If people don’t back their ideas they don’t like it, yet don’t like backing other peoples ideas.

'Delusions of grandeur' as sir nigel might say.

I honestly hope they keep going. In the lead up to our games against them I go arse deep into palace ultras (ultras!) content and have so much fun. It’s sometimes hard to tell between the parody and real content. Either way it’s incredible. The above tweet proves it lol, is it a parody or real?! Either way, hilarious

You say that but they look to have the overwhelming support of their fanbase on it.

Because tifo displays are supporter culture Bert. So heavily deep rooted in it with years of history.

If you spend hours of your own time and money to create a display it has soul and meaning, thats something brilliant.
If you hold up something some marketing executive has signed off and has been printed in China rather than by hand in South Norwood by your own it’s non de script.

As well as usually crap in compared to the fans work.

Tifos aren't really engraved in UK football culture though are they? Certain teams on the continent it's definitely part of their culture but Palace have just decided to jump on the band wagon a few years ago.

The points still stand though.

I would say more than a few years too for Palace.

Yeah I get it all. I really actually genuinely get it. But you’ve brushed over my point. Sometimes these groups just don’t help themselves.
