For anyone that has had COVID and claimed a refund for a ticket previously, what evidence do LCFC ask for? If you have to self isolate does this also allow you to obtain a refund?

EDIT: Won't be reselling (Long story) for the 10 people that have PM'd me sadly :D

Can't speak for anyone else but they didn't ask me for proof.

Yeah, we're driving too as the train did seem like a lot of effort.

Even with driving, it can be an awful lot of effort getting away after the game due to the congestion. I've booked a parking space as we'll no doubt aim to get there 11-12ish, Uber in to the centre to sample the Christmas Market, and then Uber to the stadium.

After the game, we'll walk back (Around 30 mins) whilst some of the traffic clears.

Even with the Uber's to and from the parking, Market and Stadium, its a fraction of the cost / effort of train.

That’s exactly what we have planned to do. Booked park on my drive again.

They refused to give me a refund for Arsenal, Moscow or Brighton. Sold Arsenal and had to take a hit on the others.

That's poor. Which address did you email? I did lcfchelp.

First time at Villa Park this weekend. What are the food options like in the away end? I’ll have to feed the lad before kick off to stop him going mardy 😂

The concourse is absolutely tiny upstairs. There are a few burger vans very close to the away end so that might be your best bet.

Last time we were there, the 4-1 win, I went to a nice little chip shop towards railway station.

Brilliant, thanks mate. I’m coaching it with the lad and don’t fancy much of an explore dressed in blue and white, so might give those vans a go. We’ll be going through the turnstiles as soon as they open so a small concourse isn’t the end of the world if the food is decent?

This is a football stadium you are talking about!

😂 I’m not expecting a 5 star restaurant. But a hot dog and chips will do

Some stadiums I’ve been to have fairly decent grub compared to others though.

If you go behind the back of the North Stand at Villa, you’ll find five or six vans selling better grub than your normal kiosk in a ground / fatty burgers + chips.

North Stand is to the right of our away end. You’ll be fine walking around there too.

To be fair I rate our pies and in particular the sausage roll. Although I rarely eat at grounds.

Yeah I agree. I’ve seen a few moan about the quality of our offerings but everything I’ve had has been alright - except the hot chocolate. Those Aero cups taste stale 😂

Further alternative, especially if its chilly, there's a big Tesco in easy walking distance. The cafe has a decent number of seats and a mixed set of fans. Shared a table with a couple of Villa fans last time and had a good chat.

Then we beat them 4-1, Ha!!!

Self isolation not enough, in order to get a refund you need to be positive and have proof of a positive test. £30 down the drain, lovely.

Like I say, I had proof of a positive test and they still wouldn’t refund me the gits. Hope you kick the virus quickly mate.

Totally agree on the aero hot chocolate. God knows why I keep buying it.

😂 I’ve had it twice. First time I forgot to stir so assumed that was the problem. Second time it was mildly better, but still pretty bad. Never again.
