Christmas Dinner - Scheduled for the 25th December

Recommended Posts

Just the two of us this year for the first time ever, I think my biggest problem is going to be portion control, I've always cooked Christmas dinner for more people.

I was going to make @Unabombercake recipe but then found Daim cake in IKEA so we are having that instead lol and I'll make the cake after Christmas

Hope you all have a lovely day

Have a good one. Can’t wait for the cake just need to not get completely full on the dinner which is a strong possibility.

I've had a couple of homemade Sloe Gins. Started prepping it in October.

Mixed with fizzy wine, it's bloody gorgeous, kicks like a mule. Definitely recommend it.

I'm certain most of our squad drink it pre match & at HT.

I made homemade sloe gin a few years ago, so good. Easy drinking it neat, which isn’t always such a good idea.

Managed to snag about 8 extra packs of Pigs in blankets last night just before Sainsbury’s closed, had already pre prepped my own so looking to do something a bit different with these?

Anybody tried adding different ingredients under the bacon? Or even topping them with anything?

I’ve somehow bought raw instead of uncooked prawns for the starter tomorrow. The last time I did this was in South Africa the day before an 11 hour flight where I decided to defrost them in the sun, giving us all the worst food poisoning imaginable for the flight, so needless to say I’m a bit worried 😂.

Ive defrosted these in cold water, then boiled them, and then put them in the fridge. Am I going to poison my whole family?

No reported deaths yet, which is nice/bad (delete as appropriate).
