Look the most tricky to get to in terms of not actually that many flights to that part of the world.

Then we'll either turn the season around, ride a wave of confidence back into top form and have ourselves a 'Brenaissance' 

 

Or we'll be out, we won't have any more midweek fixtures and we can slowly trundle to a top 10 finish and put the whole sorry mess behind us

You can also fly to Zurich if we get Basel.  It's an hour on the train. Pretty easy.

FIRST TEAM

 

Leicester City will discover their UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16 opponents in Friday’s draw in Switzerland.

 

When does the draw take place?
 

The draw will be staged at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday, beginning at approximately 12pm GMT. LCFC.com and @LCFC social media will bring you news as soon as it happens.

Who could Leicester face?
 

After qualifying through the knockout round play-offs, City will be paired with one of the seeded sides to reach this stage as winners of their pool in the Europa Conference League group stage.

They are as follows:

AZ Alkmaar
Basel
Copenhagen
Feyenoord
Gent
LASK
Rennes
Roma

 

The unseeded teams, meanwhile, are:

Bodø/Glimt 
Leicester City 
Marseille 
PAOK 
Partizan 
PSV Eindhoven 
Slavia Prague 
Vitesse

What are the key dates?
 

Following Friday’s draw, the two-legged last-16 ties will take place on Thursday 10 March and Thursday 17 March. Leicester City will be at home in the first leg. The final is on Wednesday 25 May in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

For Rennes you would be best probably flying to Nantes from Gatwick which is direct and then about a 2 hour train

 

Or could drive to Poole, ferry across to Cherbourg, and then a 2 hour drive to Rennes (would be a very long day though haha)

UFS have been looking to put on a coach but sadly so many firms are saying the Brexit/travel red tape is stopping them now.

Yes, started back in the 70s from Wearside dockers working in Rotterdam. Really big deal.

Hoping we avoid somewhere like Alkmaar in this round, no chance I get out to anywhere for the last 16 but hopeful I could after my holidays start again in April lol

I've family an hour or so from Rennes but Gent is the one we all want surely. Good chance of beating them and a bloody good swig.

 

Feyenoord would beat us and AZ would do from a Kamal Sowah masterclass.

That’s a good point.

Makes it a one in three chance of us getting a Dutch team.

 

What are travel restrictions like to Holland? Still any?

I know France and Belgium have lifted theirs.

It works for foreign mobs as they have an ultras scene and an understanding that the front of the stand is the place to aim for if you want noise. With us it will be like the Championship days with 3 or 4 songs trying to crack off at once.

I lived in Rome for 15 years. Roma ultras are a nasty bunch and given a free rein by the local police.

 

There are some awful attacks that took place in Campo -- chains, crowbars, etc -- that were signalled when the police suddenly left the area.

 

I never went out in the Centre around European matches, especially against English teams.
