The vaccine is not about preventing or passing on COVID it’s about saving lives of yourself or loved ones, nobody has ever claimed it to be a cure, it’s pretty simple and if you don’t get it by now you never will, the vaccine lessens the chances of dying dramatically, it’s really that simple

The reason some people struggling with this is an exceptionally low iQ.

Exactly, its not about being a 'sheep' etc. Fact is that if you look at the people who really know what they are talking about (let's say all the scientists and doctors in the country) and the majority of them have had the vaccine, you have to believe they would only take it if they believe there is a benefit which outways the negatives. But people who have no knowledge chose to believe people on YouTube etc and think they know better. Beyond belief really. Mass immunity is the only real way we get out of this mess but because of the so called 'YouTube experts' I can't see it happening.

You can’t ‘catch it just as easily from the vaccinated’. Not only are they far less likely to be infected in the first place but when they are they’re viral load is likely to be much lower.

 

People are completely misunderstanding the point that you can still catch Covid from the fully vaccinated by not reading the whole explanation. Of course you can catch it, but it’s less likely and even if you do, it’s less likely to make you seriously ill.

To be honest I fully expect the response I got. As Mark Twain said ,it's easier to lie to people than to get people to admit they have been lied too. you all spout government propaganda which changes like the wind and yet you still believe what they tell you. suddenly you are all experts on all matters concerning COVID.  Well there are twenty million like me in this country alone who have declined the kind offer of a jab so I'm not alone. People on here have a least admitted that even with the jabs they can still get it and pass it on, yet it did not stop them attending matches in their thousands. That says all I need to know about the IQ of joe public.

You and the like attended football matches knowing full well that even jabbed you could catch it and pass it on to others. Despite lessening the severity it still makes it morally wrong to have done so. pure logic.

Don't know where you get your facts from either. The latest stats show that there are 6 million unvaccinated in the UK. So only 6 million of Joe public with a low IQ.

Seriously people - I did post yesterday evening that it wasn’t worth debating with the Papa …..seems my instincts were right on this !  (Although mr Weller is sort of incorrect to say that being vaccinated reduces your viral load - it reduces the time which that load is available ) 

 

of course we have no studies on vaccinations/omicron available so things may have moved in either direction …

You were the one who questioned the IQ of "joe public". Your also the only one on here talking about transmissions, I'm talking about becoming seriously ill from omricon through not being vaccinated and overwhelming the NHS

Ok no problem. I choose not to have an untried and tested vaccine ( and one that this government has given the makers the legal right not to be sued by anyone should it have long lasting adverse affects ) smell a rat yet?

The vaccine is tried and tested -  it's been in full circulation for a year now. Those who were originally part of the trials have had the vaccine for anything up to 18 to 20 months.

...how long will it take, until you are convinced it will be safe for you and your family to have the vaccine!!!

  This virus will be here for some years, if not forever, we have seen the habits of people in public places, there is not much of an attempt to safeguard from the virus, it is certainly not going away any time soon.
