Vardy will be up there. In the top 50 hopefully.

 

Ndidi hasn't deserved it this year, last year maybe.

Good job the Guardian narrowed it down to the 100 best male footballers.   Presumably the "100 best footballers" is a different list?

Tielemans should be ahead of Kasper. 

Both should be higher up on the list. 

 

Suspect Vardy will be the only other Leicester player to make it. If Kasper and Youri are at those numbers, will be very surprised if anyone else is higher.

There is also a list of the best 100 female players in the world.  There are  no Leicester players o  that list.  The word 'male recognises that there is some diversity in football.

It's very clearly designed to have some diversity with nationalities, leagues, clubs etc.

 

If you look the 40-50 section, you'll see some odd ones in there with VVD and Marquinhos who are arguably the 2 best centre backs in the world so have no place being that low.

 

It's very rarely a measure of the best 100 players in the world but more about what some have done in football this year.
