I think we might have some ideas but I don’t think any of them will  sign on the line until promotion is 100%mathematically nailed on. I personally don’t think it makes any different whether we are one point ahead on 10, it’s when promotion is guaranteed  that we’ll start hearing some names. And that’s partly because the wages we offer will vastly change  depending where we are.. income will change  and so therefore  so will budgets.

Of course we can’t confirm anything until things are certain but you’ll find deals are agreed with agents and clubs in principle.  If we were 12 points ahead now then we’d be able to approach an agent and the position would be that they would accept we were going up and no need to talk to others if they liked what we offered and were happy to come here.  Now they’ll still want to talk to others which could mean we miss out.  It’s just an added complication that I reckon rudkin didn’t expect a month ago

Apparently we’re trying to strike a deal to tempt Leroy Lita away from Coalville for next season’s promotion charge.

Don't think it matters. Any players out of contract should be considered if their good enough.

tbf we've been looking at him for a number of years, even when we was in the prem, according to reports anyway

I think we are, and should be fishing in the championship pond irrespective of division. The better players from the championship can prosper in the premier and won’t be earning stupid money.
