Agreed, just like Ndidi, one of the attributes of a combative defensive midfielder is to instinctively seek out a bit of contact in a tussle.

 

They are both very good at getting a foot in and coming out with the ball but if they are doing this more and more in the box they're going to give pens away.

 

If he does play there he's going to have to stay on his feet far more.

 

Whatever happens I'm sure these sort of experiences are going to help him streamline his game.

Hopefully Newcastle don't make a bid we can't refuse for Hamza. They've been sniffing around for a while. Thought he was calmness personified today, showed his pace at times, didn't mistime any tackles and was motm for me.

We'd be crazy to let him go with the situation we're in and if he can establish himself as a utility player, that could be integral for us going forward.

I think it was Bruce who wanted him . Fat Ashley did everything in his power through his minions to scupper any deal for him

It's "carpenter". As pitch side paramedic we had regular scenarios in case something major kicked off.
