I think it’s because Wood was sold and they don’t have any decent strikers available and have not had enough time to buy another striker !!

That's their problem though not the rest of the league's

...I  do not believe Covid or injuries make a difference in the ruling if a game can be postponed!!!

The criteria is available players not the reason why they are unavailable.

This is open to be abused by some clubs, but we are not party to what is going on at other clubs and we were receiving negative comments from people unaware of our own circumstances.

As for outlay to travel to watch a game, that is really a chance you are taking, especially because you would have been aware of previous cancellations being made and mostly at short notice.

I hope your card company takes a look at it again and decide that a refund is something that they can do.

Incorrect according to the PL statement this afternoon ref the arsenal spurs game …….

Clubs should definitely be contributing to repaying fans hotel cancellations, train travel and the like.

I really don't think they realise at times how much effort goes into getting to these matches.

They haven’t a clue

Just imo, I think it should only be for covid reasons full stop. Evidence should be provided to the FA in the form of a confidential communication containing a positive test in the name of the player concerned. This of course should not be divulged to the media. It both proves the illness status and stops any bending of the rules. It's no different to any ordinary mortal reporting sick to their employers.

Injuries are part and parcel of football as is the choice to sign international players or not.

If it was forced upon them, it could be another consideration in getting matches on at the scheduled time.

The point you were making is that football clubs don’t appreciate how much work goes into fans arranging to go to away games.
I agree and also assert that the clubs don’t really give much of a toss

...not sure why you are seeking to blame the players, it is not their decision, I am sure the players would still delight in kicking lumps out of each other!!!

The clubs are doing what is, in the best interest, of the club itself.

Yep. This is the same club that were genuinely surprised about the Moscow 25 booking their trips before ticket details were announced.

Annoying

"And we will refund you in the form of a ticketing voucher, this can then be used against tickets in the future."

Also being told to wait until the new date is confirmed...

No way I will make it midweek - only reason I was going as it was one of the few Saturday 3pm kick offs

.....if the voucher is in lieu of credit for future ticket purchases ,it shouldn't matter if you are unable to make a mid week games!!!

if there best interest is not finishing the season then  clubs like burnley are going a good way towards that

I cannot get the voucher though until the fixture has been rearranged?

Therefore I cannot use the voucher for say tomorrow when buying Forrest tickets...

So I will just be out of pocket until a date gets sorted is what I am saying... even though I know full well I will not be able to make this future midweek date and would like the credit to cover tickets now:dunno:

...I understand fully now, it did not seem that the voucher was tied to the postponed game as opposed to a credit where you can use against other games!!!

It makes little or no sense for the voucher to be limited in this way.

I don't think it's 'tied to the postponed game'. You can use for any ticket I'm sure, but clearly the vouchers won't be issued until a date for the rearranged game has been confirmed.

It may yet be a weekend fixture.
