Hopefully this will go ahead. Who's available again?..

Soyuncu, Justin?, Castagne, KDH, Thomas, Daka?

No way Justin is.

I'd expect all the others to be back

Won't Daka be touch and go. He was out 3 weeks and that was up just the game wasn't it?

Will be touch and go, the 3rd week would be around the 15th against Burnley. So who knows as a BR 3 weeks really means 6 weeks.

                        Schmeichel

Castagne - Söyüncü - Vestergaard - Thomas

          Tielemans - Soumaré - KDH

         Maddison  -  Daka  -  Barnes

Tempted to play Choudhury over Vestergaard, but his height maybe beneficial against Burnley. If Daka isn’t back would play Lookman up top, hopefully the rest are fine.

Think we should have enough fire power without rushing back Daka if he's not ready. Having some full backs, KDH and maybe Cags back will make a huge difference

Vestergaards height wasn't beneficial in the home game, he was beaten with ease in the air by Wood, and in a race Vydra left him looking like he was pulling a bus.

Post match Rodgers said Daka and Cags might be back for Burnley , so surely they would need to be back in training at the start of the week for it to be possible

Slightly soothed by Bob Mortimer’s Dyche impressions on athletico mince though

Maddison to swap with Soumare and Lookman up front with Daka and Barnes.

Not quite convinced by Soumare yet, there is something there. May be even play Choudhury, he's the one player you know won't get bullied and not give it back.

No matter how shit Burnley are, I never look forward to playing them. Somehow managed to draw their last season.

We either have a makeshift side or a fair few players coming straight back in which doesn't usually end well.

For purely selfish reasons I want to play this. My nephew cried for an hour when Norwich was called off. We're going to this and if this is called off he'll be devastated. Its important in developing his connection the club. I'm not sure he'll want to go the next time we suggest it if they keep cancelling the games he's due to go to.

OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF

Then we demand the Spurs game off a week on Wednesday.

Then Brighton the week after.

Unfortunately we have to play a game then because you know, “different competition, different rules”

If he was fine on Saturday he's in the squad.

We have 8 fit outfield players. We have 10 defenders plus Ndidi as a back-up unavailable.  We should have over 10 next Saturday.

Common sense dictates the rearranged Everton game be postponed .
