Date for PL (Added) & Europa squads?

Premier League squads have to be submitted the day after the transfer window closed - so yesterday

 

For European competitions I believe the deadline is the end of today

 

Might be a bit after until any squads are published out though, Prem usually waits until the other transfer windows close to take into account any players that could still leave (like Mendy could still go to Turkey for example)

Speaking of the European squad... do you drop a player to include Fofana?

 

JJ I imagine will take Benkovic's place, meaning should we want to include Fofana (or even Mendy) players must be dropped to add them in

 

Evans with how long he is out for? Bertrand?

 

Goalkeepers: Schmeichel, Ward, Jakupovic

Defenders: Soyuncu, Bertrand, Evans, Ricardo, Vestergaard, Castagne, Benkovic

Agreed. Surely Jakupovic is our 3rd choice in name only in the same sense that Lee Grant  is Man U'?

Mendy wins the AFCON playing an integral part in a very strong Senegalese side with players like Koubilaly from Napoli and Gueye from PSG yet he can't make it into our squad....beggars belief!

I’m guessing because Mendy is limited in he can only play one role, the role he can play we have 2 or 3 others who are far more versatile in what they can offer.

If we were to go deep in the competition and Ward picked up and injury and Kasper a suspension, you can’t just throw a young kid in for their debut in a semi final away in Marseille or Eindhoven. 
That’s why you need an experienced third choice keeper - every club does it.

Believe you have to name 3 keepers? If you only name 2 then you need to leave a gap in the squad.

Nigel Spink did ok in his second appearance for Villa.

People acting like Mendy is some kind of golden saviour for our season. Truth is, he wouldn't have added much at all to our squad in the grand scheme of things. 

 

Plus, you have to register 3 GKs anyway.
