for our refresh. Lots of emerging clubs such as West Ham, Arsenal, Newcastle and Wolves all seemingly being touted for the same players. What would make us stand out as the players choice. Newcastle have the wealth, Wolves a good agent and the other two the lights of the Capital.

It’s the same every season.

Every season, you have emerging clubs and those on the slide.

We’re an established Premier League club with relatively recent success, world class facilities and have shown that we can grow players.

We’re a good option for players wanting to get a foot in the door, before taking that big step.

Arsenal are looking for different players to us in all likelihood.

I would add Villa to that list, seem to be splashing the cash.

We have an extremely strong reputation for developing and improving young players and turning them into worldies

I have never really understood that ,the Premiership winning team was by no means young. Maguire saw us as a stepping stone. Chilwell, Barnes, Choudhury, Thomas and KDH have been or were with this club for over a decade.  Maddison and Tielemans were already recognised as quality before they came here. So just Ndidi and Justin have considerably enhanced their reputation. Chilwell is our only recent academy player to be sold for big money in many a year.

madders was playing in the championship, Tielemans couldn’t even get a regular game at Monaco , also ndidi and Justin as you say  but it’s a strange point you make about Chilwell, Barnes, Choudhury, Thomas and KDH.. you are saying that they’ve been here over a decade but I don’t understand your point in saying that? My point was that we develop players. I mean that’s exactly what we have done with them isn’t it? We’ve developed them? Wether they’ve been here 3 years or ten, we’ve still developed them?

Yes we have but that is the case with most other top clubs, I don't think we are much better at it. Fofana, for instance , has not been improved by us . He was already highly regarded and very expensive for a teenager. We certainly have given younger players a chance to showcase their ability that can't be denied. That maybe the attraction for players like Soumaré and Daka.

why is it, out of all the other clubs that were after them, Fofana, Soumare and Daka chose to come to us?

I think its because we give them the chance to show what they can do pretty much straight away. Some clubs would not give them the game time. Of course we musn't forget we offer them lucrative contracts.

You're responding to a wind up merchant.  No point.

As much as new clubs are emerging to rival us as an attractive destination for potential signings other ones are falling away, Everton for instance won't be rivaling us for top young signings any more, neither will Leeds if they go down. Chelsea also potentially entering a transition/downturn.

You've missed Everton off that list?

Should be a few players from Ukrainian and Russian clubs up for grabs soon.

Not to mention Chelsea. :D

We've won every single domestic trophy more recently than all of those clubs?

We have world class training facilities?

We're not owned by the Dildo Brothers or anyone with an extremely dodgy human rights record? Or the Kroenkes?

You are right of course but maybe just comes down to wages and add on 's.

We also now have a haunted convent in our roster so if that doesn't sell it for players then nothing will.
