Good to see Soumare back. Not because he’s delivered anything this season, but just because the only way for a young player like him to improve is to be around the squad

Worse thing that could happen is going a goal down. It'll make it even harder to break them down.

For sure, we need a good goal buffer going into the away leg. A clean sheet tonight would at least give us a fighting chance in Rome.

Roma: Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Karsdorp, Mkhitaryan, Cristante, Zalewski; Zaniolo, Pellegrini; Abraham

Roma bench: Fuzato, Vina, Perez, Shomurodov, Maitland-Niles, Veretout, Kumbulla, Sergio Oliveira, Spinazzola, Bove, Afena-Gyan, El Shaarawy

Mourinho is going to park the bus. Let in a goal and it will be a very frustrating evening for us

Albrighton? Really?

Watch the game, and you'll see us have zero attacking threat down that side, and if Mourinho plays an attacking Left back, he will bomb on and have the freedom of the park.

Waste of a shirt.

(I look forward to being told about how 'Incredible' he was during our Title win)

Roma mean business - I just passed a pile of discarded tubs of espresso coffee beans by the canal. The Charlie gang in L1 won't know what hit 'em. lol

Should he be playing with that? ‘Spose it might scare off those Roma defenders…

Strong XI but our bench looks stronger than theirs

A bit worried about Tielemans in the DM role. Zaniolo, Abraham and Pellegrini have 60+ goal contributions between them this season, so our defence will require protection. Hopefully we can keep a clean sheet.

Could be a high scoring game with Vardy back leading the line linking up with Maddison.

That's arguably as strong a side as we can put out.

Dunno why though (usual pre-match nerves?) but I'm not feeling  confident. Youri and KDH have both played a lot of games and must be close to empty.

Vardy bags one in the opening 10 minutes and I'll be right as rain!

The only surprise for me is Sharky presumably for Barnes. But HB hasn’t been great of late and MA does have a wealth of Euro experience.

Surely Lookman is the replacement for Barnes.
