Both of these 2 teams still running their asses off knowing the situation and compare that to us in the first half today jogging around without a care in the world we are a disgrace

That's what got me the most about todays performance especially when comparing it to Evertons, Forests and the Southamptons players efforts in todays matches.

We were jogging around as though we had nothing to play for :facepalm:

Vestergard, Bertrand, Daka, Soumare, Souttar, Kristiansen, Faes, Tete just not up to it in the Premier. Comes down to quality and it just hasn't been there.

For my mental well-being, I wish we were playing Liverpool tomorrow, Newcastle on Wednesday then West Ham on Thursday.

Our fitness levels are appalling and like Dean Smith says, it's too late to do anything about it.  We spent too much time in training this season practising passing it sideways and backwards and not enough time running.

At least Southampton are showing some desire.

If Southampton lose this, they're as good as gone.  They'd need to win all their remaining games

Southampton will win this 3-2 just to give us false hope!

I'll take some false hope today

It's not, but how many games have those particular players played? The whole team has played shit, right from the beginning of the season.

When you watch us play how often to see us running at 3 or 4 defenders like forest just did.

it’s all so laboured even when Maddison gets the ball, he will do a dummy and turn and hold it up.

We have lost that attacking zip

Maddison is a talented player and would be great in a good team.

But he is part of the problem slowing play down and also plotting for a move, which does nothing for team spirit.

Tielemans also has had the same affect and he is nowhere near Maddison  in ability or effort. He is hiding.

Clear them all out,

Our problem is the midfield soft and clueless. The way Fulham just breezed past was embarrassing
