Would be funny if he "came good" like Vestergaard did last season but I can't see it - nor him being played at all over Hermansen and Stolarczyk , not even in cup games...unless both get crocked!.

Everyone jokes, but the jokes on you. Ward is going to play this coming season.

Once it's anywhere but here I'm fine with it.

He should be looking to move to another club we have two better keepers.

He's another Conrad Logan, Eldin Jakupovic and Alex Smithies in short - easy money just sitting in the reserves! Also in Ward's case having enough goalkeeping practise here to still play for Wales!

Need 3 goalkeepers just in case. He basically becomes another GK coach, he’s there to encourage the other 2 younger goalkeepers. Ben Foster speaks about it a lot on his podcast, they are a really important part of the dressing room

We offer him as much as he's willing to accept to terminate his contract. Some players have the amount written into their contracts, I spoke to Muzzy Izzett a few days before he retired and Birmingham were paying him 1/2 his wages for the remainder of his contract in a lump sum.
