I know he's shit but the atmosphere around the ground should he start (let's be honest, he will if Mads is injured) isn't going to help anyone. Could do without ironic cheers when he catches a ball for example.

He was 3rd choice last season, and only made his way back up as Cooper was weak and just went along with his welsh friend.

I think they should look to get the game v Wolves postponed due to lack of fit players if we can only field Ward, and take the 0-3 walkover. He is that bad that I think it could derail our whole season playing with him in the team. Imagine a scenario where we start with Ward and Choudhury in a premier league game with a straight face...

I am of course joking. But nothing compared to the joke of us being in a position where we would be fielding a poppadom handed, professional bencharming, point preventing bombscare of a goalkeeper who has survived sheerly through our inability to find anyone stupid enough to pay his exorbitant and professionally negligent level of wages.

I'm worried that this Dawson is still around. His catastrophic experiment at Brentford showed up that he isn't cut out for this. 

 

Any normal coach who's seen Ward in training would've immediately warned Ruud it's a no-no.

If we can't get something so fundamental right that he should never play in a really meaningful game for us ever again then we really are fuched

As others have said , if there's a sniff of him starting next Sunday,  I'll seriously think about not attending. 

Not his fault he got offered a ridiculous contract but the thought of taking the trouble to get in my seat and have to applaud that useless ##£# running towards the Kop , makes me feel sick.

 

I was stunned at St James's on Saturday,  seeing him come out of the tunnel,  and knew all hope was lost, although I didn't expect it be out of reach that quickly. 

 

We'd have lost that game with a prime Kasper in goal because we were poor all over the pitch for 90 minutes bit some of those players have a bit of credit in the bank, although not much.

 

Just travelling back down the A1 after a great weekend around some great people but all the locals said we were the worst side they've seen this season and they got no argument from me

Danny Wards agent does not need any advice, he will be absolutely fine.

Anyone who could get Danny a 12 million pound move as a reserve keeper and then a pay rise and new contract is God like levels of trickery/genius.

He is probably based in Dubai selling sand to the locals.

Personally I think he should be charged with aiding and abetting the continuing long term fraud of Leicester City by falsely claiming Danny Ward is a professional footballer.

I remember doing my bit for Ward in a boozer watching the Qatar world cup when he came on as sub. Getting him a cheer as he came on (and meaning it, he was one of our lads, as you rightly say) 

 

Two minutes and two goals later Wales dreams were over.
