For balance he made 2 good saves in the second half but their first two goals were a shambles from his perspective as was most of that 1st half. Beaten from distance at the near post for the first and absolutely nowhere for the 2nd. By that time he’d also got lucky when a trademark 1v1 had almost resulted in a goal for Felix. Rather than a world class save encouraging a team on, his failure to make stops kills any confidence both with the crowd and the on field players.

The Havertz goal. Just no words. 

 

He made 2 good saves, but that's literally about it on the positive side. 

 

He needs binning. Go wherever Rodgers goes next. Including the job centre.

I was going to say Rab Douglas and Jimmy Neilsson would push him close but the latter never played a game.  How is he even in the Wales squad?

at least ran douglas had the decency to fall down the stairs and break his leg. Ward wouldn’t be so kind

I'm 67 and still play in goal in a 5 a side team. My save percentage is better than Ward's.

The tip over was routine for a PL keeper, tho surprisingly good for Ward. 

 

The second save was excellent by anyone's standards. 

 

But all PL teams need a keeper to keep them in a game and bail the team out chilwells was a joke and as I say above, second just needed brute force

A truly awful keeper who our truly awful manager will keep as his number one to the bitter end as he's too stubborn to admit he got it wrong making Ward the first choice from the start of the season.

The impact of the first goal going is devastating to the team's psychology, especially when playing at home in a significant game against a top-six opponent. 

 

When Ward repeatedly allows easy goals, it becomes challenging to remain competitive.

Two. And even they weren't class. Maybe the one scooped off the line, I'll give him that.

Why on earth did they not replace Kasper? Why on earth did they let him go? He left in a really weird way too.
