FLAN Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 Totally bottled second goal. You are a keeper. You will be protected. Get the ball and clear the player out. He’s pathetic and the first was equally as poor 4

Now that he has been exposed, I doubt he will ever come close to earning his current wage again once his contract runs out. He's been offered a new 3 year contract 1
Philkeavo Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 There are a number of frauds posing as professional footballers at Leicester at the moment but this guy is right up with Amartey. Its easy to blame them, but we know where the fault lies. I despise that fecking poison dwarf because he’s biggest fraud of all.
dannythefox Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 Worst keeper in the division and a good half way down the championship too. 1
Tuna Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 Didn't see the goals so can't really comment on how shite he was but even Owynn and Pipes were calling him out for the first one.
Popular Post Kierzz Posted 11 March 2023 Popular Post Posted 11 March 2023 He's going to be the primary cause of our relegation 10

Even if he turns out not to be the long term solution, he can’t do any worse than Ward. What can possibly be worse for a keeper than conceding saveable goals in EVERY game. He did well at Preston agreed...but in the championship...his distribution is awful...he was bang average against Blackburn but to say he is better or worse than ward is fairly irrelevant...both are not premier league standard unless you wear blue tinted spectacles Edited 11 March 2023 by glasgowfox

dannythefox Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 (edited) When I’ve seen Iverson he’s always looked ok did well at Preston and got in team of the season at Rotherham the year before. He can’t be worse than Ward. Edited 11 March 2023 by dannythefox

Metal Lover Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 We are not a great team this season, but I'd be as bold to say if we go down, a decent keeper would have been the difference. 2
Old Fox Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 Smithies would be a better bet than both !! Reality is that goalkeepers in the prem can cost or contribute a big points gap…..guarantee we would have 7 or 8 more points if he was still here…..probably the biggest mistake preseason 1

Actually - I'd be happy to. Both saves were as routine as you can get for even a below average keeper. The Fofana header is right at him. He puts in a good flop but if he doesn't save that it may be the most shocking goal of the day. The one off the ground - it bounces exactly to the perfect height for his already diving hand - it's fortunate more than anything, a little higher or lower and he just swipes it into the back of the net - it's again the perfect height for him in that situation. The saves were routine even if his flailing and flopping deceived you. The goals were HORRENDOUS. 6
Guest Posted 11 March 2023 Posted 11 March 2023 We genuinely might as well start every game one nil down with this utter plank in goal. Below average at best in every single department.

He’s certainly a better shot stopper than Ward. I agree distribution with his feet isn’t the best but look at Pope. Ultimately a goalkeeper should first and foremost stop goals. Being good at kicking is secondary - Ward isn’t that great with his distribution anyway. Trying Iversen isn’t going to make it any worse, we are losing every game and conceding lots of questionable goals with Ward. If we do the same with Iversen at least we can say we tried something to stop the rot. Edited 11 March 2023 by funkyrobot 2
