Maybe one of the best keepers in the championship last season for example? Now where can we find one of those ... Iverson ain't the answer according to the club - he hasn't impressed behind the scenes at all and suffers from goalkeeping technique issues in same way as Ward. Obviously that goes against the grain from his time at Preston but that's the opinion at the club. Edited 3 January 2023 by CosbehFox

Surely they must be actively looking for a replacement? Ward is rock bottom in every football analytics chart I’ve seen. We’re becoming a laughing stock…

Remember Rodgers is apparently a big fan of Stolarczyk who cannot get a game on loan at Fleetwood, frankly I don't trust his opinions 1

tetly Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 Not sure he even tried to save that. It’s really embarrassing having such a poor keeper. I could do as good! 2

I’m lead to believe that they don’t find him commanding and believe his ball playing ability isn’t good enough?
tylesta Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 Little star jump away from the ball was the worst attempt to make a save ever made to easy for him
Mike1983 Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 How does newly promoted Fulham have a PL-class goalkeeper and we don't? Pisses me off tbh. 3
Sampson Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 Jumps away from the ball and almost tries to turn his back on it like he was scared of it, they'll still be people in here saying "he's not the problem, because he wasn't at fault" though. It's yet another goal where he's not directly at fault but he could clearly do much, much better at though and another one that a quality PL keeper could well have saved/ 2 1

Come back Kasper. 3
Mike Oxlong Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 His decision making on whether to come for a cross appears to be straight out of the Vicky Pollard coaching manual
Nolucklcfc Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 Has he pulled off one really good save since taking the number 1? Genuine question. Bloke doesn’t save anything! 1
funkyrobot Posted 3 January 2023 Posted 3 January 2023 Fulham would’ve let in at least two goals tonight if they had Ward in goal. He pulls off regulation saves only. 2

People said he had 6 CSs but in all those CSs there were hardly any big chances. They were all eliminated by Faes and Justin

Iversen's development and loan moves are probably one of the few things the club have got right lately and if Stowell was coming to me as manager and saying this that and the other why hasn't it been rectified at all he's been at the club for years, whether that's out on loan or not. Seems very amateur, when Kasper left we should have took the opportunity to move Stowell on as well Edited 4 January 2023 by Tommy Fresh 1

tylesta Posted 4 January 2023 Posted 4 January 2023 Harvey barnes chance and fulhams goal was so similar one difference Leno was out and made himself big ward did a star jump and fannied out of it
Ric Flair Posted 4 January 2023 Posted 4 January 2023 Any idea what his 1 on 1 shot stopping stats are this season? There's usually an excuse keepers aren't expected to save many 1 on 1's but that was one of Schmeichel's main strengths and I feel like we gift the opposition a fair amount of them for it to not be a concern. 1
westernpark Posted 4 January 2023 Posted 4 January 2023 Whilst there are a number of mistakes leading to their goal, Ward was about as much use as a cardboard cut out against Mitrovic. Find the whole thing staggering that the media are not paying more attention to how poor he has been. Perhaps the reasoning is that in majority aspects of goalkeeping he is below par and thus there aren’t many clangers to get emotive about. Jakupovic was better. 2
