Like @Ric Flairsays though, next season will be a major issue if we don’t sort some of these headaches out. We still have plenty of time left and I can see us picking up a few free transfers, as that’s a more sustainable model, as the King Power business will be set to take a hit if the world goes into a recession. 1

I think with the squad changes, we could be set for a positive net spend again, as we look to balance the wages issue.

The concern is clubs like Leeds are going to have cash now where we don't and it looks like we're being priced out.

We’ll be reviewing players based on stats and outputs, then gambling that they can reproduce that in the Premier League. We’ve had some relative success with this. Whilst having some howlers as well Its the only sustainable approach we need to take, until We address the wages Vs turnover issue we have. 1

I agree and it's a frightening prospect of us suddenly improving our ability to defend set pieces, so Rodgers is going to be under monumental pressure after promising to fix it.
