Whats an 'old timer'?

Do you mean those of your parents and grandparents age that were for decades when we were shite and still be there if those days every returned and the novelty wears off for others?.

Ageism like any other form of prejudice is an embarrassingly moronic trait

Yes those people, who would probably struggle to stand up for 90 minutes but don't want their experience lessened because of it. Reckon my old man probably has about 5 years of being able to stand for 90 minutes, and when he can't we will relocate accordingly.

Thought it was only us 'young uns' who were 'snowflakes' and offended by everything.

Were you on DD scheme last year? In which case it’ll have been renewed automatically. You’ll get an email later this week to select mobile or physical ticket.

I'm not a Grandad but It'd be nice at some point in my life and I'm sure you appreciative that your Grandad felt the same and it happened.

Calm down - Its amazing how calming it is to have paid off your mortgagees (benefit of age) and watching the rents pour in whilst tinkering about in the garden and many years before a LCFC OAP discount kicks in.

No offence taken. Getting older is something i'd recommend, the alternative isn't so great surely?  I've seen many that out of choice or illness have not had that benefit, i'll' opt for the nice cup of tea and a biscuit.... :scarf:

Good for you my man :)

I'm on the direct debit scheme but not yet been renewed. If I log in it says begin renewal? . Anyone else got this?

Yes. I have been DD forever but had to manually renew. The 2 others in my group were auto renewed.

What’s the situation with SK1? Will my season ticket automatically renew or do I need to apply to keep my seats as they are in the ‘singing’ section?

No automatic renewals in that section. Think you have to register interest or relocate. I feel like it's a contact the club job but there is so much going on I can't remember. It's all on the ticket site though including thorough FAQs.

I wonder if the E-ticket Is the clubs way of stopping people swapping tickets?

or being more digital and getting rid of paper/card i.e. being more environmentally friendly.

Not sure that constantly ensuring your phone is at 100% so you can access your train ticket, train pass, apple pay & your match ticket is that environmentally friendly.

I mean they aren't forcing you to have it...

I am sure quite a lot of people will use it because it is convenient and they don't have issues with their phone battery / aren't on it all the time draining it

I would probably use it myself if I didn't want to have a physical card just because I like having one to "collect" haha

I have had a look at both Liverpool and man City who are already using this technology for mobile tickets. They both allow transfer of tickets. Man City do it through 'family and friends'. So if leicester go down that type of route, anyone you want to transfer to would need to have at least an account on the website and be in your family and friends list.

Ive been on the direct debit scheme for years but it let me renew manually just now and didn’t appear to have been done automatically.

Hope I’ve done it right and it doesn’t charge me the whole amount on 1st July! It did say 11 equal instalments but then didn’t say what these actually were on the DD.

I agree, if you do the renewal yourself it shows up as one of the options as you go through.

Because if you log in you have 2 options as part of the process. No.1 is the pdf or physical ticket. And then the next bit is DD which you can continue as the 10 payments meaning your old instruction form last summer stands or DD 22/23 which allows you to change to 11 monthly payments at which point you have to re enter your account details because effective the club are requesting a new instruction.

Hope these screen shots help everyone.
