I personally have no issues with this, only thing that interests me is who have they consulted with? Is it just a phrase they are using to “sell it” to the fans or do they mean the FCC meetings as I’m not aware of any email surveys being sent out

“The launch of 2022/23 Season Tickets follows a productive period of consultation with Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members, where feedback was sought on potential pricing structures and future enhancements to operations that would increase the value of being a Leicester City Season Ticket Holder.”

Consultations were used to gauge supporter feedback on a proposed mobile ticketing system, with the long-term objective of removing physical tickets and Season Ticket Cards”

On balance it seems a fair price hike if your a ST holder especially if it’s been frozen many years. It’s decent value for premiership football.

“2022/23 will see an average increase of five per cent on general admission renewal prices from the 2021/22 season.”

I’m seeing an 8.6% increase in G1 and as there is still a £10 difference to the Kop I’m assuming that’s a similar increase.

Who’s seeing less than 5% then to average that out?

Still a bargain compared to match day prices and spreading it out by an extra month will make it hardly noticeable.

I don't think - given there's a global recession on the way and all the complications that brings - anyone can be too upset about a 5% increase. No business is immune to increases in costs and the energy bills alone for our 3 main sites must be horrendous. Given everything we've experienced on-field since the last increase, it's still fantastic value.

I've said for a while there should be a £20 cap on matchday prices (and obv the ST prices as a result) to keep things affordable for families and those who can't get to every game but the way things are going that's a long way away.

Apologies missed the point you were making. Yep the club just plucked a figure that wasn't even actually mentioned at the FCC and ran with it. Not sure if they ever ran a your 90 mins on it.

I think he meant the ticketing pricing. Believe he is correct in thinking this was only put to the FCC. You will know but was it not really much discussion more these are what they are going up by.

Well it wasn't really a discussion. And it was all very vague as well.

Most people sacked it up as you know. To be fair tho there was several mentions of 8% so I guess they didn't go all in on it. But i would expect we probably see another one next summer as well. Or maybe 2 year's down the line.

I did see that email but I was actually referring to the points that I quoted about ticket prices and Mobile tickets

Pleased that the singing section is a permanent fixture, hopefully as the seasons go on that area grows and grows until it becomes a whole (hopefully safe standing rail seated) stand to allow all who want to make some noise to get together and families, old timers etc can sit in comfort elsewhere.

Think 5% is pretty fair considering it's been frozen for so long and the cost of running the club has increased in the same way any other business has, plus King Power's profits being particularly hit by Covid.

And then I remember we're paying Brendan Rodgers 10 million pounds per year and we can't defend a corner.

This was my first season as a STH. I know the renewals are tomorrow. I quite fancy moving to another section of the ground. If I renew tomorrow do I still get chance to move?

I believe you need to renew first before you can relocate. So renew tomorrow then wait for the relocation period to move elsewhere (early June).

Capping tickets at £20 is a nice idea on paper. If most top flight clubs followed suit it would be ruinous for the rest of the football league pyramid. How could a National League club be able to justify charging the same amount as a top flight one?

The Foxes Trust is open with the meetings we attend, we regularly update our diary page Diary – Foxes Trust

You will see from that diary, there was an FCC meeting in February and then we attended 3 further specific meetings on the topics announced today (prices, digital tickets and singing section). The meetings we attended were open to all other supporters groups (most attended the sessions) however there was also a separate group of fans consulted who were selected from registering an interest and those selected all had no previous involvement in any consultation process

Mine in A1 as a renewal has gone from £365 to £385 which is pretty much 5%.

A new ticket in the block has gone from £395 to £435 though which is closer to 10%

On the one hand, the ST increase is below inflation and very reasonable considering the years of price increases.

On the other, the member/man in the street who can't afford a season ticket is now facing a 10% hike - this increase will affect the people who can afford it least.

I did this last year and ticket office were really helpful on the relocation.  Yes, I renewed first.
