In Boston I suspect you’ll have Brazil as it’s the bigger stadium of that or Phili. England will likely be Dallas, Boston and then NYC as FIFA won’t have us in a 45k stadium in Toronto will Panama play Ghana in a 95k capacity in Dallas. Where did you see that mate? We’ve been looking all over and couldn’t find anything concrete? Edited 5 December 2025 by Lambert09

Looking at various forums, people have been put off by pricing, however maybe they will make a "weekend" of it for 1 game. I was thinking about it and flights were around £700 just after the draw. Not too bad. Hotels in both cities were £500 per person per night. I'm not guaranteed SSC tickets, so will give this a miss unfortunately. My 3 friends are guaranteed tickets and are booking as we speak.

You can get cheaper rooms, I’ve booked Boston and New York for much less per night. 2

I'm thinking about travelling around Central Europe for a few weeks in June and watching the games in different cities. Germany, Austria, Swiss, Italy. If they play a friendly in Europe pre world cup I'll go to that. To be honest, trying to get tickets in Germany was really stressful last year, I cba going through that in USA.

Understandable mate, I’m 40 next year and guaranteed tickets to any England game I want so said I’d go over for the groups but with the cost and logistical nightmare I kind of wished I’d decided to **** it off and go literally anywhere else with the money. That said, I’ve only ever done NYC in the states so really looking forward to seeing more of it, and hopefully a good chunk in Texas so I can go to all the BBQ places I’ve been drooling over on YouTube for years. 1

Spent 2 great weeks in England for Euro 96, and 2 weeks in France 98. Then Germany last year. Nothing beats a European tournament. Enjoy, ( I obviously hope England are home before the postcards....😀) All the best 👍
Corky Posted 5 December 2025 Posted 5 December 2025 Bloody hell, just had the misfortune to see Kaveh from SSN talking to the viewers as though they are 8 year old children again. "Donald Trump said it would be like 104 Super Bowls because there are 104 matches. Well, it won't feel like that because some of these countries are not great at football like Brazil or France because when you have 48 teams they won't all have players like Lionel Messi". Yeah, thanks Kaveh.

Yes, many hotel options with both, though Boston and New Jersey will be trickier, only because the stadium isn’t in the city. Rail travel exists to the stadiums, but it’s one platform/line adjacent to the stadium for all fans. Don’t get me started on reliability of rail service in New Jersey… Kidding aside, if anyone here fancies a trip over this summer and you’re looking for recommendations on transit, flights, where to stay in different cities, etc, happy to help. The Horse's Mouth Posted 5 December 2025 Posted 5 December 2025 It’s official Americans, your great leader Donald Trump of the United States has declare it is football, any talk of the word “soccer” ICE is sending you to Antarctica 1
Nalis Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 Similar to the extend rugby world cup draw earlier this week, an extended football world cup kills off any group of death, maybe the France, Senegal, Norway, play off winner group at a push 2

RowlattsFox Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 Decent kick off times for England in terms of watching it, but not in terms of playing in it. 1
