I’m glad you mentioned that,although he certainly didn’t live up to the hype,I thought at the time he got a rough deal that day.

He did. A lot of the stick he got came from the radio coverage that was given out at the time as well. People that weren’t there were only hearing half the story. Some people already had his card marked so anything they could use against him they were willing to do so.

The fans were split,I think there was a brawl in our end regarding it at the end.

It's not the most cheerful story but one of the most genuinely shocking things that I've seen as a fan was Big Dan's broken ankle v West Ham in 2018. I was sat not far from where it happened and the angle his ankle was pointing in....can still see it now.
