perhaps but unless a designated scout has been sent, pre-season isn’t where a player is looked at. Usually the effort is for your current club.

Soumare has made some silly passes which he needs to get out of his game. He’s done well but those lazy passes stand out and makes him look so bad.

 

We need to be able to defend better than this, simple direct balls are causing us havoc, it’s clear the team isn’t quite with the pressing BR wants. Let’s hope it’s just players getting used to it because we can’t allow teams to get behind us so easily when the season starts!

Not helped by Soumare who seems to have lost all notion what the anchor midfielder is to do. And before anyone says that’s not his normal role, it’s again football 101 that if you are the deepest midfielder in any situation don’t leave your defence exposed

I dont really understand the "just a preaseason" argument. It's a preseason for every team that walks all over us aswell. Difference is they seem to have their shit in order whereas we are carrying on from where we left off last season.... a disorganised mess.

He’s not sh*t, but he has been performing badly.

 

He’s lost his spark that’s for sure. The skills are there, he’s just not been using them to his potential.
