Thought soumare was meant to improve once we have given him some time. Another 3 to 4 seasons he might be able to trap the ball.

I know it’s just a friendly but we are seeing the same issues as last pre season which we never corrected

- conceding set piece goals

- conceding endless amounts of chances

- having high possession but barely any chances created from open play

Problem is, there’s not better player in the world at breaking up play than Wilf, and Soumare has clearly got some issues be it on or off the pitch. You just can’t afford to carry players in the premier league. I think it’s make or break for Soumare as daft as it sounds. If Brendan doesn’t see any improvement in these games then I imagine he will be loaned out.

Just pointing out your logic of previous experience and performances being invalid for Iversen should also apply to Kasper then.

If they haven’t been corrected in two years, I wouldn’t hold out much hope now.
