I think it works more like Applepay than actually scanning the QR code.

It's not an image. It's NFC - contactless like your bank card.

It means they can get your ticket back and sell it full price through their ticket scheme.

Been there once mate. Was raging. But then the helicopter came down and it sort of tempered my anger towards the steward who wouldn't allow me in despite seeing incident that saw my son in the ground and me stuck outside.

Go to the settings in the nfc ticket within your mobile wallet and the QR code will appear. You can screenshot this and pass it on to family/friends/touts. As with everything in life, don’t get moany, get even

The NFC didn't work at mine, and they just used the bar code. But I was at the Keith Weller, so no actual turnstile. Will be a shambles this Sunday.

As far as I understand, it's like my Arriva bus ticket. It updates every few seconds, so it's constantly active, changing and only works up close, so a screenshot won't necessarily work.

 

I've no idea if this true or bollocks. Which could be said of anyone saying anything on this forum. Shite.

I got kicked out at half time Newcastle at home last season because I didn’t have my paper ticket on me to show them I was supposed to be in the seat I was in. They said ground regulations state you always have to have ticket on you and if you don’t you can be ejected. But now if your battery dies you’re ok I guess? Shambles as per

Lots of people struggling with this yesterday but it was mostly because they were putting their phones in the place for your paper ticket, the people who knew where to actually put it, got straight in. But definitely can see problems ahead for families.

I'm guessing you'd have to take your phone out its case for it to work?

If it’s anything like UEFAS app from the Euros last year then you’d be able to just give the person your log in details

What if your phone doesn't have NFC are they still doing print at home.

Nah you should be fine, same sort of system for contactless paying on phones and it works with cases on
