Useful workout but I think we ought not play friendlies against sides hell bent on kicking lumps out of us. We look good enough for where we at (pre-season, uncertainties) and we're moving the ball around nicely, just need a bit more to click around the oppo area.

He’s third choice in a role we only play with one player. He isn’t going to start over Vardy and doesn’t offer as much as Daka.

Impossible to have a reasonable reaction to anything this preseason what with all the outbound transfer speculation. 

But I imagine precautionary subbing Ricardo Barnes and only giving fofana 45 are good shouts. 

Rather than being a bad thing I think using left footed kdh as inside right rather than our other square pegs is actually a great shout. Works for saka mahrez, Bernardo etc and could mean we can get ndidi tielemans, wilf maddison Barnes and him in the same team.

Looks like Schmeichel is off and the anti is being upped om shipping the unwanted ie they're not even allowed near the playing squad.

I know it's quite tempting to post something inspiring to rack up likes, but in reality, we have salvaged a narrow win against a second string Sevilla team.

 

Thought we showed no improvements at set pieces and we weren't clinical at all. Vardys decreasing lack of pace becoming more noticeable.

 

I know it's a different ball game mentally when you go into a game that matters, but nothing in pre season has filled me with confidence going into this season, from our performances, to our transfer activity.

 

I think we'll be left behind by a lot of teams this season.

Bit meh and injuries which arent good. Set pieces also appear to be more useless than last season

Mediocre performance, but clean sheet and made quite a few chances. Shame about the injuries, but Fofana, Maddison and Barnes were pretty good. Praet was highly influential after coming on too.

 

Iversen was a carbon copy of Schmeichel. Great shot stopping with awful distribution

 

Will need to up our game to beat Brentford, but overall preseason has been quite good I think.
