Need to stop playing Spanish sides in friendlies. The fofana injury last season was a a disgrace and Sevilla tried their best to injure our players today with some of the challenges. Ridiculous!

Surely we've got to be giving Iheanacho minutes when we're so light on attackers, especially with Barnes potentially injured. Genuinely dont think ive seen a player be so unfairly shunned by a manager anywhere in football.

I wasn’t trying to imply we’d played them loads. That game was played like a competitive game, not a friendly.

 

Great for preparing for the season. Not great for the challenges flying in.

First half we were decent without creating great chances, Barnes and KDH were fantastic. Second half we weren't great against what's a poor Sevilla side although Youri was on top form. Set pieces were garbage still. Playing horrible dirty ***** in preseason is a bad idea.

 

If Barnes is out for any length of time we're in the shit.

We have 3 strikers for one role up front, as none of them can play wide. The decision is easy, sell Iheanacho for someone who has the ability to play a more variety of roles but naturally a RW, but it's not been made in 3/4 years we must enjoy snookering ourselves.
