It’s no surprise we’re playing 3-5-2, been saying for the last year or so he stopped playing this formation because Barnes was back.. now he’s injured again we don’t have any wingers and back to that formation

Really wish it wasn’t 5 atb with ndidi, seems too defensive to me. Playing out from the back will be difficult with him and amartey as well. But, lots of height to combat Brentford, who are very good in aerial duels.

Adds extra personnel to cover a GK you don’t have confidence in and a defence that can’t defend set pieces

6 defensive players against flippin Brentford at home? Not a fan and hoping to be proved wrong.

No Vestegaard whatsoever.

No real need is there? You got Soyuncu, then you got the option to bring Albrighton and/or Thomas on at wing-backs and push either/both Castagne or Justin to centre-back. Both preferable to playing Vestegaard.

Joking aside, why are we giving Brentford respect?

I don’t think it’s that.

Its more to do that we don’t have Barnes.

3 CBs and a CDM. I didn't know we were playing Real Madrid away.

Watch us conceded by 14:05

Back five and utterly defensive at home against Brentford.   To thine own Brendan be true.

Back three not a back five - two very different formations

Amartey RB and castange RW?

No chance. It’s 3 at the back

I was just looking on the bright side

Not the team I'd have picked, nor the formation (if it's three at the back) I'd gone for.

But then, I had Harry Kane as my Fantasy captain this week, so what do I know.

No wingers so you attack with wing backs. Come on lads, a win here will get the media doomsayers off our backs, at least for a week or so!. Let's get behind the boys and put these to the sword!
