Honestly it is more to do with the idiots using it rather than the technology.

 

It's as simple as using your phone or watch to pay

Absolute farce. My phone doesn't have NFC technology. Just let people print their tickets at home.

Worked fine for me. Surely people were prepared? Go ticketless or keep your card were both options weren't they?

Problem around us seems to have been ST cards not working. Saw 4 with card in hand back out of turnstile.  My NFC was no problem

To be fair it was a silly idea having free beers today especially when people aren’t allowed inside with them, so you just get people hanging outside drinking their beer.

It really is. Woman in front of me in a family of four didn’t have it in her wallet but her fella did and he had his kids… it’s down to the users causing the issues. 
 

paper ticket or phone it takes the same amount of time to scan in the turnstiles

Probably because they have changed how they work as well

 

Before you used to put your ST card into the little slot thing, now you tap it
