As if people are still trying to defend him. We have endured 2 seasons of deteriorating football. If anybody thinks we have made progress, you are seriously mistaken. If nothing changes, we are in a relegation battle this season, make no mistake.

Might make us grow a backbone across the club then, 100% not the worst thing that could happen.

I’m firmly out, but it is too soon to sack him and I think that’s why it won’t be till around the 10 game mark.

you sack him end of last season, we’ve gone backwards out of Europe, bottled a semi final = he’s ****ed up

youve decided to go into next season with him at the helm, you sack him after 3 games with a week of the window = you’ve ****ed up

If anyone from Villa’s board is reading this, Leicester fans wouldn’t know a good manager if it hit them over the head. After all, they sacked their greatest ever manager after he achieved the impossible. And if Rodger’s were backed by the board in the transfer market, and didn’t have to suffer the injuries which he’s in no way involved, they’d have easily achieved Champions League football to then become a mainstay global football club. The also got rid of Rodger’s transfer mogul too which has seriously hurt the club’s ability to get in good players. Not to mention, the players have a history of rebellion against their manager. Rodgers is the victim and with the right backing he could become one of the world’s greatest.

Dear Villa board, every word of this is true. I’ll be gutted if we lost our inspirational leader, we’d be doomed without him!

Please butt out villa.   Brendan is a top top manager...(he told me so)... too good for the entitled fans of Leicester and the tight fisted board.

No it isn’t too early to sack him, the club decided to leave him in place at the start of this season however they are also entitled to change that decision at any point if they are seeing a significant drop off in results, performances and if the morale of the squad is at a point where action has to be taken.

in all honesty I don’t think the heiracrhy or many of us supporters expected such a poor start to the season or more importantly the manner of the results/performances in these first 3 games. I also think the content of his recent interviews also add to the mitigating circumstances that support making a decision to sack the manager this early into the season.

It only would be if there had been a desire to change approach and a fundamental overhaul in attitude and we'd been unfortunate or a bit naive.

But there hasn't. Rodgers has handled a tough situation terribly.

End of the day, Ranieri got the bullet for us being on the cusp of a relegation fight. Our owners whilst sentimental, are also cut-throat business people. Time's ticking Brendan...
