What’s Vardys lowest ever rating?

It will be todays. He actually had opportunities but was absolutely dreadful. Then Iheanacho came on and matched him for quality, unfortunately.

Ward, Amartey, Soumare and Praet did little and aren't good enough.

KDH works hard but seriously lacks quality, really don't think I can see him as an elite PL midfielder. Lower Prem at best is his level.

Tielemans isn't fit enough and gave the ball away too often although on the occasions we did flow he was involved.

Justin didn't have his best afternoon but was doubled up on quite a lot. Not sure I see why he plays LB.

Evans, Castagne and Barnes did alright.

Vardy was awful sadly but think the management shares responsibility for that.

Iheanacho did his usual put himself about but ultimately achieved very little, not good enough. Perez doesn't appear to have any position or standout attributes to be a professional footballer.

Can't even remember who else came on, shite.

Youri 92% pass completion, 6 key passes, set up 3 very presentable opportunities (2 for Vardy, both great balls; and one for Praet), made a load of tackles.

Honestly don’t know what more people want from him, he was by any measure pretty bloody good today.

5.7 average rating at the time of writing lol

I don't know why people are having a go at Ward

Yet again they're blaming him for goals he couldn't do anything about. In fact he made 2 outstandings saves today to keep us in the game in the first place (getting a toe on Sterlings shot and preventing the early tap in by Havertz)

The first goal is, unsurprisingly, purely Amarteys fault. The 2nd goal is just dreadful defending all round, what's Ward meant to do if someone loses Sterling and he's a foot away from goal

I don't think people are having a go at Ward think its just more frustration that Iverson is probably a better keeper

And having Iversen in goal today wouldve helped us how exactly?

Ward didn't give the ball away a single time, not that I can remember at least. He literally couldn't have done any better

You could tell he wasn't good enough after the Forest game, nothing Ward has done this season changes my mind, personally I'd rather see more of Iverson

Youri was our best player by a mile.

If his team mates could finish then he'd have 3 assists today.

Youri averaging just over Justin at the moment is ****ing baffling, got to wonder what game some people watched today lol

It’s not saying much but it’s by a distance the best individual performance by an LCFC player this season. Probably the best player on the pitch.

An 8 or 9/10 performance if ever I saw one.

The narrative is that he doesn't want to play for us any more and is going through the motions. I thought he played well against Brentford too.

Vardy signs a nice new contract and look what happens. Surprise surprise, his form goes down the toilet. Like so many others before him (not least the manager).

He was brilliant today after they were down to ten and he had more time on the ball.

Ward 6 At fault along with Amartey for the first goal. He’s too far off his line. Two brilliant saves from Sterling though.

Justin 6 Did ok

Amartey 4 Again at fault for a goal. That’s 5 I put down to him this season. Can Soyuncu really be any worse than this guy? He does his best but he’s now where near good enough for this level

Evans 6 Did ok

Castagne 7 Best of the back 4 and got forward well

Soumare 6 Considering Rodgers hasn’t played him for a minute all season and then chucked him in away at Chelsea I thought he did alright

Praet 4 Totally ineffective

KDH 5 Not one of his better games

Tielemans 8 MOTM. On another day he’d have 3 assists. Thought he was really good

Barnes 8 Caused a really good full back problems all day. That’s the Barnes we need week in week out please

Vardy 3 It’s sad to see him like this now. He’s looking every bit his 35 years. Rodgers needs to give him a break or at the very least, play him with a strike partner to ease the burden. You can’t expect a player of his age to play up front on his own every game at this level

You have to wonder if there is a psychological reason for this, as it happens so often

Yep. The words 'Easy Street' spring to mind.

All of our players - and manager - seem to live there at the moment.

His best game for months, especially 2nd half.
