I've tried and tried and hoped he could turn it around, but when he brought Amartey on when we were 1 nil up, someone should of slapped him!

If you get £2.3 million per place higher that you finish in the league  according to the picture I uploaded  then surely getting rid of Rodgers now and we give ourselves a realistic chance of staying up & by doing so we would cover the £10 million for his pay off

Seriously set up a crowd funding if the club are that hard up, i'm sure we won't get near £10m, but i'm sure we'd be able to raise something to help out and contribute.

 

As I mentioned earlier, for the record I like Faes but if the club is in that much of a mess i'd rather us have not signed Faes and used the money to get rid of Rodgers.

It's a weird situation because a bad season costs us so much more than £10 million, but we also have to pay to get a replacement in and probably promise them money to spend. 

 

The irony of ending up with Dyche and not giving him man many pound notes would just be too much.

Recruitment in January doesn’t matter if we’ve got Rodgers as we’re 100% going down. Least a new manager might be able to get the current squad to stay up.

Should we be looking at a fundraising initiative from the fans to pay him off? Where's the Fofana money gone? Why did we turn down offers for Maddison if we're that skint?

Recruitment in January is hardly the priority though. A decent manager could get the existing squad to mid table, then reappraise and spend in the summer when quite a number will be leaving.

No, we shouldn't, but i'd be willing to chip in.

 

It was a flippant comment anyway, we wouldn't raise anywhere near enough and neither would the club accept it i'd imagine, but again, if the club is in such a state financially (Which is the one of very few explanations) i'm willing to chip as quite a few would i'm sure, even though it'd only be chicken feed in comparison even clubbed together.

 

In the long term sacking him saves money in the long term given his high way, sacking him doesn't solve all our problems, there is alot wrong with the club atm, sacking him solves a few of the problems though, it's starts with sacking him.

Even if this was true, I genuinely have no idea, I'd make the assumption here that we will climb the table under a new manager whereas giving Rodgers another 15-20m won't really improve us. We are a mid table team at least when on form.

It's 10 mil for rodgers plus all of his team will need paying out too. If we go after a manager that's already in a job we'll have to pay compensation to the club as-well. I want him gone like most of us but the price to make this change is not 10 mil. It will likely be a hell of lot more than that.

They probably budgeted for an 8th place finish, so 7th place would plug £8m of the £10m we would need!
