Saudis just missing that bit of quality at the top end, but brilliant to watch and passing around.

This'll be a good group to watch depending  on today's game later on.

Lewandowski first ever world cup goal

Deserves it. Great to see what it means to him as well. The amount of goals he's scored and this is still the pinnacle.

Yeah I'm happy for him. Tearful afterwards understandably.

If they go out next game at least Hervé Renard can go back to his other job which is clearly penning erotic fiction

Sort of bloke you’d see in Bruges sat in the corner of a bar slowly drinking a Trappist beer for a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon. Collecting his thoughts for his next erotic novel

Somehow Poland in a good position all things considered

And makes the group interesting regardless of the result later this evening. Will definitely go down to the final day whatever result happens.

Might get a bit spicy, this one...

If I was a betting man I'd say first red card in this one, especially  if Argies are losing

So is Mexico's.

Guardado conned the ref badly there lol

After watching Argentina keep getting the benefit of flopping, it appeared if they decided “why not”

Doesn’t get any better than Andres Cantor on the mic for a for the Telemundo broadcast of this game in the States (even if he confuses the players from time to time).

It’s a beautiful thing.

Not sure. Players on that side of the world do generally like to milk any kind of contact.
