Dammit. Could Kasper have collected that?

The ball was too good - whipped in. I never rated Kasper in the air but that one I don't blame him for.

Yeah, fair. Just seems so close to the goal by the time Mbappe makes contact.

A minute ago I was thinking Rasmus looks handy at RB.

That's a bit crap though. I know Mbappe is quality but in a way that makes it worse that he's got absolutely no idea where he is.

Both fullbacks are suspect defensively. Thought Kristensen looked poor when we played Leeds recently.

Denmark would need to beat Australia regardless if they drew or lost to France. Only a win would have made a difference.

Yep, made their own job difficult for the upcoming final game.

Australia won't be an easy game.

Mbappe scored 4 in 2018, and he's got 3 now. He's only 23 so he's got another two World Cups, maybe three, left in his career.

Has Mbappe got a tenner on 2-1?

Pretty much just casually declined a world cup hattrick.

No, I'm delighted he did that as I had a fiver on this...

Mbappe or Eriksen to have 1+ shots on target from outside the box, over 2.5 goals and each team 10+ booking points @ 4/1

Realistically probably two if he stays injury free. Assuming he gets at least a couple more in this world cup it's definitely possible.

It's a bit luck of the draw really isn't it. Literally. Depends who they get in their groups in the future.

He got 4 in Russia and 3 so far here.

Will probably be rested against Tunisia if the score stays the same tho

Future world cup wise - he's 23 now so ones at 27, 31 and at a push 35?

Fair enough you could be right....

Been disappointed by Denmark again.

Did an OK containment job on France, but tactically wrong formation and personnel from the start. Mæhle has been invisible, Eriksen has been shut down too easily and we have no potent striker.

Australia is a must win, but it always was. Thankfully they beat Tunisia as that makes progress easier

Australia are genuinely shit. They will park the bus and hope for the best. If Denmark don't panic and play the game we know they can, they will win.

Not strictly true.

A draw would have put qualification entirely in Denmark’s hands - i.e. a win v Australia and they are through.

Now, having lost, they could still beat Australia and finish behind Tunisia in third place on goal difference/goals scored (e.g. Denmark 1-0 Australia and France 2-3 Tunisia sends Tunisia through on goals scored)
