That's a shame. He's an incredible footballer, and the world cup will be worse without him. That said, if France's group was even a little better I could see them going out early (like other defending champions have done), but they could probably sleepwalk to second in their group.

Kasper has always delivered exceptionally well for Denmark. Just like at Leicester, he's a massively important personality in the dressing room.

He had to wait very patiently for his chance when Thomas Sørensen was first choice, who in turn had to wait a long time too because of Daddy Schmeichel.

Rønnow will get his chance if he keeps performing. I personally think Oliver Christensen will be the long term replacement.
