Never thought Denmark would finish bottom of this group. That's very poor for them.

Well done Australia. Could face Argentina in next round...

How is that given offside? Literally don't know their own rules, embarrassingly bad.

Lucky it had no impact on the group.

Fair play to the Aussies but thats a tragic effort from Denmark.

Brilliant from the Aussies, totally deserved.  To get 6 points from that group the same as France is a brilliant achievement.

I blame the Danish manager for wearing trainers with a suit.

I don't rate Australia, they're legit the worst side to watch, but fair play to them.

We've played something like 11 games in Qatar during WC qualifying rounds including the play off v Peru

The team is also staying and training at one of the best facilities in Qatar

These small percentages make a difference. If Poland or Saudi top group C we have a chance at a seemingly unthinkable quarter final spot

They were shit. In all three games and yet they have 6 points. It's mystifying.

Some serious soul searching needed fot Hjulmand and co. I expect his stock will have fallen significantly as a result.

He did try something different for each game, but nothing worked.

Eriksen, Andersen, Højbjerg, Lindstrøm, Skov Olsen, Jensen all coming into this tournament in good form, but frankly all but Andreas Christensen were way below standard.

This one will hurt for some time.

For the second World Cup running, I think Denmark have to be bottom five in terms of entertainment.

So thats 20 days without one of my teams being able to dissappoint me. Might enjoy christmas then.

What a shit show from the Danish national team. Only Andreas Christensen came away with a little pride intact. The rest were the worst version of themselves. We were not even shit housed; we were just shit. Complete despair.

We must be the worst. We don't even get battered. Just pure boredom and then limping out. This World Cup will not miss us one bit.

“Dark horses” Denmark come bottom .

Well done to the Aussies .

Presume France weren’t really that bothered .

Argentina or whoever will fancy their chances in the next round playing Australia though.

Yep in 2006

We beat Japan 3-1 Cahill with 2 goals

Horrendous penalty call.

(Vs the Italians not Japan lol)

France changed their whole side and showed little interest.

Yep. I've just looked at the IFAB offside stuff, and that situation seems to be explicitly NOT offside!

Griezmann doesn't interfere with the first ball in (where he is in an offside position). The defender then clears it and it becomes a new situation. Therefore offside was the wrong call unless someone can show me the rule where it was offside. Very strange.

Do you think Schmeichel will carry on?

Probably, yes. I can see Kjær stopping though.

I am not sure what will change. Maybe Hjulmand needs to rethink how he wants his team to play as a result.

Maybe they will conclude this was just a 'blip', but the fall from grace is quite staggering considering this team has overall probably had the strongest two years ever in Danish Football history.

Mbappe running at Maguire…. Lol

Did you not watch last night? It'll be Maguire running at Varane, then hitting the corner flag.
