Ireland isn’t doing badly compared to where it was.

Irish situation is completely different. Firstly, in the end, there were politicians and leaders who actually did want peace, even the worst aggravators. Here that is not the case.

I’m going to politely disagree and leave it there. Arguing about it on a forum serves no purpose.

It's one of those subjects where emotions can overrule debate, eh ;)

Absolutely, especially as people will have first hand experience.

It also makes the whole stuff in the news at the minute tiring.

I find it almost impossible to watch the news. I'll dip in to see the headlines and check out again. Same with socials, I tend to stick to memes and cute Retriever videos on Threads and Reddit. Binned Twitter when it got rebranded, it's just a cesspit of hate now.

He shit himself. Understandably so.

Where's the security at these events FFS? Doesn't matter what side of the fence you sit, no politician should be dealing with people running up to them on stage.

What if he was dangerous?

Really is astonishing how often this kind of thing happens.

My TA used to find ever more imaginative ways to glitter bomb me every Xmas.

My deepest sympathies lie with Starmer. That shit sticks to you for weeks.

Huge generalisation but I feel Britain is the worst country I've been in bar none for security at events, which is ironic considering the amount of CCTV and posters everywhere telling you what to do and how to act

This is probably the problem. The UK's embedded oppositional defiant disorder. Just tell people NOT to do it and you'll be fine.

I don’t think he was dangerous. In fact I think he’ll make a good Prime Minister.

Stare

Ignore anything suspicious

Walk on the right

Slide down the handrail

Forget to bring a bottle of water with you

Run when it's wet, I'm sure your shoes are grippy

Deliberately rub up against that Chinese student sitting nervously next to you

Would have been hilarious had Keir lamped him

Prescott was Deputy PM so the job of lamping twats would fall to Angela Raynor.

And I’d ****ing love to see that.
