How did Alves do?

Only had a few touches but one nice run where he drove in to the box and laid it off creating a chance. Hard to judge in this kind of game really

Oh dear.

Imagine getting a stadium ban for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. 😂😂

What makes me laugh is our end wasn’t even that lively, but he was clearly getting wound up by us. Ran the whole length of the pitch and managed to get to us for quite a few seconds before security tackled him to the ground. If he was a braver boy, he could’ve easily jumped over and started swinging.

Looks like Dean Lewington when they first signed him. - maybe it’s the only way he can get out of there.

In which case why did they pay money to the club they think is a stain on the game?

Make a protest? Make a proper fvcking protest by withholding your money. Anything else is complete bullshit.

This is up there with waving signs asking for shirts. It’s all kinds of embarrassing.

See where you're coming from and i'd have agreed with you a month ago. However as was pointed out during the world cup, groups shouldn't be forced out of supporting their teams because of a crappy regime (not comparing MK dons to Qatar before anyone's p1ss boils) and the universal praise for LGBTQ+ people attending and protesting at games was a good point well made.

Anyway IMO good on these people for making a point AND supporting their club but can defo see your point.

Soton home next round would be good given I won't be able to attend it regardless, would rather not have an away trip for me to get FOMO

6500 make the effort on a Tuesday before Christmas.

....loads of new folk, really bloody cold, bizarre selling order, soulless bowl stadium, tinpot home club with no support, game over after 20 minutes........and folk moaning that it didn't have a red hot atmosphere. Classic Leicester.

😜

One thing MK did well: playing Ghost Town at the beginning of half time.

Perhaps that was more an ironic take on their cultural vacuum and soulless city than a tribute to the recently departed Terry Hall?

It was the quietest away game I've ever been to. Not much got going at all. There was nothing back and forward. But as others have said the game wasnt the most exciting and the lads did a professional job. MK Dons didn't offer anything and it showed throughout the stadium.

Absolute procession. Genuinely as one sided as the 9-0.

Controversial but I like their ground. Bit different to the other grounds from that period and two tiers the whole way round is cool.

Ground is nice but the facilities inside for away fans are terrible.

What I like about Alves is his touch and close control is one of the finest I’ve seen since Mahrez. Brendan is drilling this three touches only policy into him, if he takes it on board he could develop into a David Silva type player.

What "facilities" do you need at an away game? Standard food and drink, pissers.

What else do you need for 2 hours?

The weird bar setup was an absolute shambles. Empty concourses and everyone crammed in to a tiny side room smaller than the toilets

In some ways bizarre is giving Maddison extra days off when Newcastle’s England players played last night

not really. obviously trying to keep him sweet.

Enjoyable game last night, as one sided as you can get and in that’s all mk dons have to offer then god help them and enjoy league 2 next season. Our defence certainly wasn’t terrified with the famous will grigg playing, in fact bar a couple of unusual loose touches by my new hero Wout (I ****ing love that guy lol) then it was a decent defence display. Amartey and Wout brill together and solid, Luke and Timmy done brill. You can tell Wout was enjoying himself by charging up the field a couple of times, would love to see him score.

As with the atmosphere it goes to show numbers isn’t everything and 3000 can make a better atmosphere than 6500. It was very clear last night was a chance for many to go away for the first time being local. Many had the chance to take their kids and there was alot of them. Then with the subs being made which killed off any atmosphere that there was.. People are right that it was more of a friendly than a competitive fixture. Fair play to the guys at the back of 27 who gave it a go, ufs in the middle. For some reason I get the feeling the northern grounds generate a better atmosphere than the south? That’s not fact, just an opinion. Granted people can use their voices a bit more, but I don’t think it’ll ever be limbs, proper over the top fake celebrations like certain clubs post and what I think some Leicester fans expect. Maybe at a couple of Europa aways I could imagine, but Southampton on a Tuesday night, no..

Onto round 5 and for pure selfish reasons so I can go, home match please :fc:

Enjoyed the performance. You could see some players were lacking match sharpness but that is completely understandable - I really want to do well in this cup.
